JJ Savage boat builders have had a long presence in Williamstown Victoria , spanning from about the 1920s onwards. It has been a family business, running over three generations, and has produced a variety of craft including yachts, launches, dinghies and other small craft.

They were notable for building some of the 21 Foot Restricted Class yachts that represented Victoria in the Forster Cup in the 1940s and 1950s. they designed and built many of their own craft, all to a high standard using local and imported timbers.

The premises remain at Williamstown, on the shores of Port Phillip, but it is no longer a boat building yard.
