DescriptionNYNGAN was built in 1953 at the Ryde Slipway on the Parramatta River where they had a construcion line of vessels for many years. The 9.2 m long vessel is one of the '30 footers’ built by that firm. he Halvorsens used a set of standard sizes for some of the motor cruisers they built for their hire fleet but also sold them as privately owned pleasure boats.

It has a cabin forward and saloon aft for sleeping, with a agalley, head and helm between, and open but covered cockpit right aft. They were popular craft and many were built from the 1950s through to the 1960s.

In 2006 NYNGAN is used as a recreational launch and remains in excellent condition.
