It has a cabin forward and saloon aft for sleeping, with a agalley, head and helm between, and open but covered cockpit right aft. They were popular craft and many were built from the 1950s through to the 1960s.
In 2006 NYNGAN is used as a recreational launch and remains in excellent condition.
SignificanceNYNGAN is a motor cruiser built in 1953 in NSW. It is one of the many cruisers from the builders Lars Halvorsen Sons who were the principal builders of these craft for many decades. It represents their classic styling and excellent construction which were hallmarks of their business.
