William Fife and Son

William Fife Junior (1857-1944) was the son of William Fife Senior (1821-1902) and grandson of William Fyfe (1785-1865) both designers and boat builders at Fairlie, North Ayrshire on the Firth of Cyde in Scotland. William Fife Junior was the most eminent of the three Williams, he started designing in 1890. The company was continued for a few years after his death by his nephew.
